Cheers D-Cup, ive filled out loads of online request forms and will wait to see tomorrow what they can get back to me on. I will also give some of them a call to chase them up. Also i e-mailed my local dealer, told him about the motors in southampton and that he should check it out and that i would take the car off him for 12250 there and then. He will probably get back to me and tell me how he cant get it etc. Its so hard to get them to do some work! I feel like im really having to earn this car, but believe i will be so fulfilled once i know its on its way to me. Could care if it take 6 weeks... hhmmm well yeah i guess i would be a tad impatient. Thinking about giving bath renault a call as mentioned by rickyboy in a the climate control thread.

Im feeling the brother hood thang, especially as were looking for the same car. Mention to your bloke that i would be interested at the right price. I will mention to the people i talk to that if there was another one going i know somone who would be interested, might pursuade them to pull their fingers out!
interesting jonathon its exactly the same price as i was quoted from brokers4cars, maybe they use the same dealer in London
you can get a better deal from a main dealer sometimes than from drive the deal, ,what you have to do is buy it through the fleet department cause thay have acess to piles of discount.
When i was looking at buying a new 172 they discounted it down to 11023 through the fleet department.
this was a while back.
worth a go though, just print out the drivethedeal quote & the fleet department will beat it
How do you get through to the fleet department? Is it the HQ of renault that your contacting? Im interested, basically have 5 numbers to call tomorrow to see what they can do for me.
No just go to your local renault dealer & speak to a sales person, print out the quote from drive the deal & tell them that the quote is for a uk car direct from another renault dealer.
Tell them you want them to beat the price, then ask them if they could use their fleet department to get it cheaper.
They should be able to do this without a problem, see the fleet department is where the bulk of the business is done. They have to discount heavily to get volume sales & they are allowed to do so. So the fleet side of the business will have a cheaper buying price that the normal retail.
You should be able to get the car through the fleet side & get it alot cheaper.

Give Kevin a ring at UK Car Broker on 01332 512434 and tell him about these 2 silver CUPs with CC at Crewe (if they exist, and if you want a silver one)
He should then be able to get these cars for the same price as I am paying £11,750. If you want a blue one without CC then I think he can get one for £11,200 or £11250 or something like that.
When I originally ordered mine from Kevin, he placed the order with the Renault dealer, and the order was rejected because the dealer said production had ceased. That was on Tuesday of this week.

My car is a brand new, unregistered and is at a Renault dealer somewhere in england. It will be transported to a dealer near where I live and I will collect it. UK Car Broker buys alot of fleet cars and use their buying power to get a good price. In order to get this price the car must be registered to them 1st, but instead of paying £13900 list price (as they have just gone up) Im paying £11750.
Now that is sweet!! I have contacted a lot of the sites mentioned in this and another thread, so i will be hearing from them all on monday, im hoping that at least one of them can come back to me with a definative, yes we have the baby somewhere in england and ill be like when can i give you the dough?!! Thatnks for all the help and advice so far... its been a real help!
Well they most of them got back to me and actually three said they could source me a cup. Oneswoop, drivethedeal and ukcarbrokers. I went with drivethedeal as they have been on the case for me and have put my deposit down. UKcarbrokers were the cheapest and will still be getting a cup with cc in at 11750 which is exceptional value! Oneswoop.com can get hold of a cup with cc at 124something which is still way cheaper that any dealer i have dealt with directly. I have posted a thread on the main page for anyone looking to buy a cup with cc as they are very rare.
Will have to wait now and see what happens (hes grinning)
