Got a tomtom one for crimbo so i thought i'd make a mount, didnt want the sucker thing on the windscreen
used the rubber mat at the top for a base, had a spare
then used some thin wood to cover, shaved corners with stanley knife, cut out the tomtom shape and glued the mat to the wood.
stuffed the inside with some upholstery foam and wrapped the tomtom slot and outside in charcoal faux suede
then staped the underside to keep the suede tight and cut the hole for the cable
ran the cable through the passenger footwell upto the glovebox, then through to the top where the digital screen is. fiddly work but its paid off
total cost = £3.03 for the material, everything else i had lying about, not a poor quality job either me thinks
changed the time now btw
