CV clip/boot help

hi, does anyone know what i need to get as the cy clip has came off a while ago, me mate is sortin it for me but wants to know if a jubilee clip is what people have used and if so what size? thany you

no its not a jubilee clip dude cuz they fling off go into your local parkers or gsf and ask for a cv clip they come as a set length and you can chop them down if you want

A large jubilee clip wont fling off if its on right. Has them on my GF's car for 12000 miles. 60p each. Job done.

Its fine and all for under a quid. Cant remember the size tho

nice thick cable tie also does the trick but yes jubilee clip does the trick, but careful not to cut boot from doing it too tight

thanks evry1, its been off fr a while now, about 3 month so finally gtn round to getting ot sorted, came off when my coils were put on

Take the CV clip off, close it and measure it

cable ties are only usually one length, the one I used was about 12" long and about 5-6mm wide

I couldn't get a jubilee clip to fit. It was too thick where the screw is and it was catching something.

Youve bough the wrong size clearly.

BTW if youve had greese leaking you ideally need to top it up too
