Daft question????

  Porsche Boxster987S
After starting my detail the other day on the car i bought a car cover for it and used it on the car when i had finished. The car was completey dry and the front half had just been pc'd and sealed with 1 layer of wax. My question is . . . Should i have done anything different before covering it up???? Will it do any damage??? The covers is water proof.

sorry if its wrong section. Cheers:eek:

smart arse.

you could get a few of those gel pads that absorb moisture to keep it from getting damp underneat, other than that a few coats of wax all over to protect the finish

dont let water pool on the cover and sit on the car for days it can lighten the paintwork where it's been

u should be ok now it is warming up...its only when it gets cold at night, that it will leave condensation on the car.

Would only be a problem if the cover was stayin on for a long period of time..

Some proper bawbags on here imo!

thanks for clearing the thread up whoever it was. N aye GAZ your right mate there is a lot of tossers on here. Anyway , just had the over on for 2 nights. Theres not been a lot of rain at all. It said on the label of the cover to place a cloth ie bedsheet on top of the car first then the cover?:S

Breathable lets moisture etc out. 3-4 days will be ok. I used a tyvek one (silver one) for about that lenght of time & all was ok - not on the vee btw. Got a special one for that.
Keeping one on it for a long time isn't recommended.
