Damaged rocker cover....removal steps 182

  182 FF
Managed to damage the valve cover on my 182 while removing the engine. I know the cover also secures the cams, I have the Renault tools to lock the cams in place, do the inlet/exhaust pulleys also need to come off to remove the cover? Any recommendations on the best sealant to use when re sealing the replacement cover if I can find one?

Cheers Paul.

The pulleys will need to come off and ideally you'll need new seals to go behind them when you refit.

The covers are matched to the head but you 'should' be ok to replace with another one.

Re-seal with Loctite 518.
