Dash Bulbs

after searchin the forum for various bits of info from the last year!!! i have finally managed to take my dash to peices, locate all screws, blown bulbs and replace them, ui have numerous cuts on my hands from the sharp plastic, and have finally finshed after 2hrs work.

and theres me thinkin at was a half hour job!!! good job im off sick

Same here mate. Did it a couple of months back and shredded my hands trying to get the speedo cable off and back on.

Any hint as to which bulbs are required as Renault could not tell me and said that it could be one of two types.

Would prefer to buy right part and fit rather than take apart, get to garage or shop, come back and fit.

501 from Halfrauds is (I think) the smaller ones. Cant remember what the bigger ones are. Could be 504.

well mate, since i have to go take the dash to peices again cause one of em still aint workin, ill let u know the part numbers of the bulbs!!! and dont get em from renault, the will be olike 4times the price, i got em from an independant motor factor and he gave me the same that were already in there!

Tip is to get the ones that rent in the holders and just prise the blown ones out of the holders theyre in and push the new ones in.

Save a fair bit.

Damn right on the price of bulbs. I needed a new fog bulb in my front fog light and Renault have made it a special fitment so Hlafords wouldnt have one. Cost me 30 quid. 30 quid for one bulb!!!!!
