Dash coming on with no key in ?

Right a quick one here for you,

Had to take gearbox back out last week due to a problem, so disconnected and fitted back, now not sure wether this is because of the cold weather or not but it was fine before gearbox came out..

As you can see, the clocks are all light up, say STOP SERV etc etc, but the key isnt in :S

Disconnect battery and do it again and its still like that.. i have no idea whats up wit it tbh

Any suggestions?

iv checked the usual Earth points etc so not suree

tbh i'd recheck all your earth points again

double check the connection on the battery to make sure it's good

Deffo bad engine earth @ the gearbox ......

Stick one lead from jumpleads on batt negative and the other end onto a clean metal bit of the engine...... lights will go off to confirm.
