dash light

having only owned my 182 for a few weeks i was dismayed to find a light on the dash come on this morning. according to the manual it is the ........exhaust gas monitor warning light......... i aint got a clue what that means any you guys had same problem or can explain further... much appreciated......

It sounds like the common problme of the lambeda sensor coming loose or braking.
So long as its just that I wouldn't worry but get it to a dealer ASAP just incase.

Also, be prepared to take it to the dealers several times if they're anything like the dealers here. Everytime I take my car there, they can't find a problem, even when I take it there with the friggin light on and them seeing it. Given up with it now and still drive around with the light on, seems to drive ok
