My service light has just come on, not sure why as the service isn't due for another couple thousand miles? Anyway, the airbag light has come on with it - does this mean I need the airbag checked/reset at the next service?
A common fault. itll most probably be the connections for the airbag under the seat. Its normally a loose connectin or something. Try wiggling them and see if it goes off, or if your not too sure pop into your local dealer.
The service light doesn't mean its due for its service . It means there is a problem with the car and as you say the airbag light is on as well so there's your problem . Its usually the wire for the airbag under the passenger seat . Just give it a wiggle and it " should " go off .If that doesn't work wiggle the wire under the drivers seat . Nothing to worry about mate it's a common problem .
