Dash lit up like Christmas tree! HELP

  "Navy" N17 TWO
Hey folks, I've been having this problem on & off for a few weeks only when accelerating hard (about 3500 revs) on the odd occassion.

When comming home from getting fuel topped-up tonight the dash lit up as above once again, and kept doing this repeatedly.

Looked in the engine bay, noticed diesel leaking onto the ground.
Had a good look around under the engine cover and sourced the leak comming from one of the injectors.

Now it seems to come on when the engine goes over about 1400 revs, not even 35mph.

Is this easy to fix, anyone any ideas?

Many thanks
Trev

Err get it to Renault etc.

If it under warently its ok otherwise might get expensive.

Hopefully its just the sealing ring which are a few quid injector out new ring and injectro back which is cheap otherwise injectors ar £200 each ish plus fitment and programming.

Cheers Edde - always full of diesel knowledge :)

We worked at it today for hours trying to get the car to start as she wouldn't "kick in"

Finally got it to go with some life by spraying easy sart into the airbox.

Then we ran the bloody country looking for an injector in breakers yards and ended up in Renault .
Ended the day with the shocking price of a new part; coupled with the high possibility of a recondtioned one not fixing the problem. Plus realising then our wild goose chase was pointless!

All fun & games you might say
