Dashboard Colour

I'm not a big fan of the orange colour in the Renault's and was wondering if it was as simple as replacing the bulbs or dials etc....

Anyone done this or got any pictures?

this is what i did to mine

just a case of changing 10 surface mount leds

ive looked into it but , them leds are tiny

u guna offer a service to do this for us
have u done the center the clock aswell

nah i don't think i'd like to do someone else's dash as it is easy to f**k up.

i had a look at doing the clock but it uses 1.2w filament lamps and an orage filter

search on ebay some fella sells em at 20 quid or 70 n he fits em

some one said u can buy the leds for around a tenner but carnt remember where from

What colour did you use? Do i need a few red and white ones?

Also, are there any instructions on how to get the dash out of tha car?

i used white ones on mine. the little display came out blue for some reason.

i needed 10 on mine but others might be different

How do you get the das out to fit the leds?

Any one done this on a mk1?

to get the dash out on a mk 2

3 screws on air vents for windscreen
the 2 side pillas unclip
the 2 silver trim strips pull of revealing 4 screws
2 screws either end of dash
the part round the stearing wheel clips off ,
revealing 2 screws

thats it i think fairly simple, had mine out a few times

once u get to dails pop the needles off using 2 spoons
unscrew the back , then u`ll see the leds
