last times someone had a mint 182 exhaust mod it was accompanied by a indcution kit, most of the cool noise is that. although i think an induction kit complements and exhaust and both makes each other sound better

this is true, i bought my 172 with air filter and full system exhaust. i took my exhaust off, sounds the same tone but diiferent loudness.
sold my exhaust a friend, fitted that and it didnt sound half as good!
