dci 100 cost? + link

is that the sort of standard i should expect for a clio dci at that price?
i have 3000 ready to buy a new car however i can't find one, would consider a hatchback van too maybe a ford fiesta

not really tbh, i would clean the EGR valve out if you get one tho, makes a noticeable difference and less smoke out back. when cleaning it, if the carbon build up apears to have oil'y substances on it then keep an eye out, could be signs of turbo oil gasket failure ( very very rare to happen )


good service will help things along, a a REMAP will show you what dCi's are all about

no prob mate .

erm so far, plans are, get FCS out the way, then press on with the big dCi meet. realistically we cant have a meet before anyway as mostly all the dci's are getting FCS prep'd and mine has no engine in again...

hopefully a meet can commence july august. can see august being the big hit.

dci's are nice i think i'm going to get one!

Got an insurance quote i have to wait to months till i've been driving a year but its 2500 spread over the year which is crap. but affordable.

how old are you? im 17 and my insurance has barely exceeded 2200 on a dCi 80. ( i keep changing mine a bit ). all mods declaired on mine.

keep looking around. search tiger insurance in on google ( its a insurnace quoting site ) list yourself as engineer working in engineering and it ' should ' drop a fare bit more.

yeah well its 2200 if i pay it off in one, and i don't know why but around here the price seems to be pretty common. I shall keep looking. I'm 19 but i've only been driving 10 month, and i had a claim for a 2mph crash which the other car has claimed whiplash for.....IMPOSSIBLE other countries say you have to be going over 6mph.

So they screwed me over, i didn't even damage their car. so yeah im stuck with that! BUT my car will be quite nippy compared to my 1.2 I'll keep shopping

aahh i see, hate people who claim whiplash from basicly a tap.

yeah will definatly be a big step up from the 1.2. you'll have diesel torque and a turbo to pull you allong. remap will make it sort of an ' animal '

Hahah how much do peopple get out of these if there standard with a remap? I really want this car! can't wait till tomorrow, i've got the funds ready only thing is i have to wait 2 months 2 get my insurance down to the price i said. But it'll be worth it !

dci 100's can be mapped to 130bhp. tonka's is at 120bhp or something close.
dci 80 like mine can be pushed to 110bhp
dci65 100bhp-110bhp depending on how healthy the engine is.

you planning on buying it and keeping it on your drive til the 2 month wait has gone? gives plenty of time for you to tinker with it, in the usuall CS fasion. sport grill, silver visions.

Get a 100 and map it, mine is most likely kicking out 115-120bhp due to losing a few bhp over the 7 years of it's life.
Really need to get it on the RR.

HWould probably consider an uprated intercooler and and few other bits before the remap to really get some good power out of it yeah that very much is tinker time ! As its a daily drive I would lower it to much perhaps 40mm all round. And white wheels as i think they look nice onthe blue I'm looking forward this I hope tomorrow goes well
