Dci 80 intercooler?

Hi guys im new to the clio scene,

i have a Dci 80 which has an intercooler right?

at the risk of sounding like a complete tit where is it?

i can see a massive radiator but couldnt make out where the cooler was.

i know its suposed to be a bigish one.

the car defo feels like an 80 and has all the trim asociated with it.

I used to have a Sportka which has 94bhp and this feels quicker if anything!

sorry for asking what would potentially could be a stupid question

could be a side mounted intercooler like on my previous Golf TDI. If so, it'll be hidden behind the wheel well

If you don't know what DCi it is, check the bullets.

No blue = 65
Blue i = 80
Blue Ci = 100

as its got the blue i

and comes wirth dynamique 80 documentation and uinsurance tag etc.

i just wondered where it was as i couldnt see it when looking for it


as in what position its in inrelation to the rest of the bay.

thats what i thought it must have been, but figured with a little guidance from my dad that there would be a radiator too and that was the radiator!

Can you fit the DCI 100 intercooler instead to an 80? Or is there somethign even better?

i think they may well be the same size... intercoolers between the 80 and 100

i am after one for my dci van ;-)

i think the 100 is slightly bigger possibly, im pretty sure ive read on here somewhere that its out of a laguna or meganne IIRC.

you can fit any intercooler you like as long as you can get the pipes for it. Focus tdci's and Bmw d's tend to have similar intercoolers to the 100.

On my car I have a 100 intercooler with 80 pipes, i just extended the offside pipe with a bit of pipe from a focus tdci.
