Dci glow plug lights up when at 70mph

Hi,

Picked up today a 1.5dci on a 54plate with 68,000 miles, when in fifth gear and hitting 70mph, the cars gets restricted power and the glow plug light comes on and the one underneath (is this engine management). Soon as I drop of the power all is back to normal.
The car runs great and starts first time, the car has been stood for a couple of months before I bought it and only started to move it.

Is there any thing that can be unplugged or cleaned out, would like to try every possible option before taking it to the independent renault man.

Sounds like the fuel pump can't keep up with the fuel pressure demand. Common on this age of Clio with k9k. The fuel pump breaks up causing swarf to be circulated around the whole injection system.

You need to get it on some good diagnostic equipment.
