DCi Lowering?!

  Clio DCi 65
Going to get a lowering kit for the car (springs and shocks) Was looking at the 60mm Apex drop kit. Any thoughts on this kit? Does a 60mm drop have any problems for every day use - speed bumps etc?

Anybody recommend any other kits etc?

Cheers in advance. Daz

Nope no problem with that sort of kit other than IMO its to hard a ride and its to cheap built as its to hard.

Most dampers stuffs rubish you need to get coilovers ideal H and R but thats £740 or so.

I am looking to be able to fling it into the corners without being scared if its gonna roll or not!

I had my last motor lowered 35mm on PI Springs and KYB Gas shocks with an OMP strut brace and it handled like a go-kart! it was fantastic, looking for around the same effect!

I like the way the 182's ride as standard, driven a few of these at the work.

Handes like a go cart? I'd bet not or you havn't driven a go cart.

I don't worry about rolling it over you won't be able to. I take mine on track days and abue it and it won't roll at all. You'd have to hit a curb or do somehting so drastic that nothing would stop it coilover or anything stop it rolling.

lol not literally like a go-kart, but was really good on the corners.

Iv been searching around on the forums, and a lot of people are having to get the coilovers set up and having to get the camber sorted out, spacers and extended wheel bolts. Is this the same situation with just a spring and shock kit or coilovers only?

Cheers for ur help mate! Very much appreciated!

You should get the toe setup an checked with sprting stec but toe in setup etc is only £40 at a garage. Camber setup is done when you fit the coilovers -1 to -1.5 degree is a commonly used number. Depends on user.
