dCi, New Clutch, how much?

My (nearly) 50,000 mile dci Clio is starting to judder sometimes when pulling away in 1st gear. I assume my clutch plate is on the way out or contaminated.

How much will a dealer sting me for this to be replaced & what's the expected mileage for a clutch when driven by someone with mechanical sympathy?

surely the clutch wont be gone at 50k?! i know the diesels have a lot of torque but my old 1.2 16v one lasted 130k of pure abuse!

Maybe an oil leak contaminating it then?

Should last the better side of 100k, sure its not engine mounts?

The clutches are dead heavy aswell which doesn't help with trying to be gentle with it.

Im on 46k of punishment, and the standard original clutch is still fine. As everyone else has said, sure its not something else??

However, out of interest, roughly how much would the clutch change cost??

im on 52k and i need a new clutch and my brother needed one on his at about 50k
