How do we go about pulling the clio badge off? Isn't there plugs holding it on & how do we fill them in? sorry & thanks!

Pull, Yes and filler!

Although personally I'd keep the clio badge :)

I find it better if you push the through the other side with a screwdriver to save snapping the clio badge, obviously just take the boot cover thing off.

To take the boot one off I presume you need a Torx screwdriver, what size do I need?

Edit: to get the boot lining out to get to the badge, I think I was a bit vague :p

If i remember correctly the clio one comes of easy enough, think i taped the paintwork up around it then prized it off with a small ruler. The Renault one however was not so easy - snapped in half!!!

When I still had the mk 1 the boot came open at about 70mph on the A12, pulled over and gave it a kick and the badge came straight off - think it dented the boot but the badge came off cleanly!

ive been trying to get mine of my 2002 clio. i stuck a credit card in behind it and tried to prize it off but i couldnt get it, it looks like theres a plug on the back of the C and O. it was just bending out in the middle.

will it come off if i press hard enough?

As somebody said before :) Take off the boot plastics and down far enough surely you must get to the back of the badge?

I had to do that with my punto to get them off, take out the boot plastics (took about 10 minutes) then just pop them out :)

Yeah I took the plastics out today but the badge has 2 cone shaped things holding it in from the inside so its asif the only way to get it off is by snapping it?

Easyst way to do it is take of the boot plastic i belive its 1 torques peice then just pull it off as its held on with clips. once you've done that get a set of long nose plyers and squeze together the clips on the back of the badge and push at the same time, do this on each side bit by bit so you dont snap it off then pull it off paint is or watever it is you want to do and pop it back in to place.
