de cat pipe with silencer

are you on about just putting a de cat on and keeping the standard exhuast system. if so then i wouldnt have thought so.

yeah i was going to but the de cat with silencer from ktec. ive just had a new stnd system put on about a month ago so ive wasted money as it is ha ha

you not wasted money mate lol. it will make a difference , just not as much (its only a marginal one anyway). i have a 2.5" bore straight through system with a silenced decat on and it is loud so if thats not waht your after then you have made the right choice lol. heres mine

Ive got a 2.5 system on my 182 with a silenced decat and silenced centre section, n it sounds good, loud but not 2 loud!
Wouldnt make the standard system much louder but on an aftermarket one it will!

There is no point in a silenced decat.

If you fit a decat to a standard system it will be 84dB so not exactly loud but it will give it a deeper sound.
