De-locking - HELP Needed

im trying to flush the tailgate of my n-reg valver but first i need to sort out a boot solenoid. i went to the people who installed my avital maxx3 but they said because of the mechanism in the boot lock the directed 522T boot solenoid add-on will not work.

has any one managed to do this to their valver and if so, how, what product, and who did it? prices as well would be helpful?

please help as im eager to book it into the bodyshop but cant til i get this sorted

very much appreciative of any help!

regards

Speak to Clio_Bus mate, he might be able to help you out.

Ive just had my boot de-locked, but am taking it to a mates garage some time soon who will sort out the solenoid and hook it up to my alarm for me.

I dont worry about the technical stuff, I leave that to others lol!

Think many people (including me) have rigged theres by using the rear wiper button. Meaning you re-wire it so when you go to turn the rear wiper on it pops the boot.

When i quickley flcik the wipers on/off sometimes that gets pushed on, that would be kinda dangerious when driving at speed wouldnt it?

the bloke who fitted it in southampton got it for me. think it was bout £30-£40 for the actual solenoid. think the company was called Auto Technix.

just phone up any car electrical specialist they are the best people to speak to. i didnt really understand totally how it worked so let them fit it, and for £74 i thought was an ok price.
