Dealer Warranty

Got a year warranty with autotrust when I bought my car (172) couple of weeks ago, if anything did go wrong with it lol I can take to any garage and it doesnt have to be renault parts cause its not a renault warranty, am I right in thinking that?

Just asking cause its 3 yrs old in november so it will have its first mot.

Its probably only autotrust authorised dealers but best talk to them as they may be willing to let most honest places work on the car.
