^wouldn't be so sure. the 225 tt is the 1.8 turbo isn't it? and the turbo lag is meant to be quite bad.

nah there isnt, had a shot of steves one, drives quite similar to the 225.. seems like it has most of the power down low.. dies off the higher you go

maybe thats what it is, clio is opposite, only comes alive at the 5k and the tt will be fading away, still think i would have him :rasp:

at the end of the day, the v6 is still a clio.. and clio's arent the be all and end all..

tt was a class up in my opinion, but given the choice, i'd have the v6 just because of the fact its rare

I have never seen a good review of a TT as a drivers car. Who says the 225 is faster then a 172?

They also have a terrible image I wouldnt be seen dead in one personally.

Depends in what social circle you are. Audi TTs are cool to many people, which is why they sell so many. To these same people, a Clio is always just a Clio. Most of my mates who aren't really into cars think TTs are awesome.

they are a class up, a clio is just a french match box.. but they arent faster i wouldnt say

but the chances are, most hairdressers dont buy them for outright speed

tbh, the roadster is a complete hairdressers car. the hardtop is better looking and if i could get one with the right engine and the paddle gearbox i would have one.

but for just now i will settle for showing them up on the roads

It's not the new tt, older shape and its the 1.8 T quattro version. Not the 3.2 n/a

end of the day depends as ever.. what it is your looking for... The TT is a totally different car.... In looks and the way it performs... If your wanting the better built one.. later TT's are very good.. The new TT is fantastic though....My sisters boyfriend has just picked his up.. the 3.2 (pointless engine size imo) and it looks wonderful, very quick. and has bags of grip.....

I beg to differ, i personally think the 3.2 V6 is slower in real terms than the 225, i have had a play with a 3.2 and was all over it like rash, the 225 gave me more trouble...but still no TT is that imprresive!

There for sunbed worshippers and playas with cubic zirconia in there ears!
