Decat / Lamba Sensor

  Clio 172 & BMW 335D
Simple question

I run a 172 Decat which as everyone will know has the 2 holes for Lamba sensors...
Do I need to run them both? The one at the rear (not the one near the manifold) is causing me problems.
What will happen if I run with it out?
The car is track use only not on the road!
Thanks

I'm running my 2nd lambda in my decat, and i've not had any issues as of yet. No EML. What sort of problems were you getting?

What problems is it giving you?

I ran my 182 for years with no rear lambda. No eml either but it was mapped with rs tuner

Long story....been having issues with car jumping in and out of 3rd on downshift....just eliminating all possibilities and this one was the linkage hitting the lambda sensor when in 3rd gear then the vibration for the engine movinng the sensor and knocking it out of gear.
