Decat Lambda V-band etc....

when I decat my car I intend on V-Banding it at the same time.
What would happen (other that warning lights) if I disconnect the second lambda? (I.e. leave it in the cat) and use a bit of tube as the decat?

Eml will be on if you disconnect post cat lambda engine will run fine. Leave it connected to keep light off and ziptie it out of the way.

When I had a decat fitted , the eml came on after a few days . I reset it using a cheap OBD scanner and it never came on again.

soooo, a fitting plug with a resistor would solve that problem?
