Decat/link pipe

Is this a full decat advertised on yozzasport or a sports cat? if it is a full decat, how is the problem of the lamaba sensor overcome? cheers.

16v_er i fitted one of our decats to a 182 tonight, it seems the "172 trick" of simply not connecting the second sensor doesn't work!! let me have a play tomorrow and see what i can figure out!

BTW we at Yozzasport don't sell "sports cats" as they still cause a restirction, we don't do compramises

As long as you car passes an emissions test they can be used.

and what do you reckon the chances are of a 182 passing an MOT with no cat,when other people have only just got through the emissions tests with a sports cat on 172's

so how many people do you know who own 182's and just use it as a track car and doesnt go on the road,it was a simple question i asked fred and i'm sure he will reply when he see's it

Why are you being so pedantic mattyw? Yes decats aren't legal but we still put them on and swap them come MOT time or maybe not even swap them if we know the MOT guy...come on man lighten up!!!!!

all it was mate racing threads are banned on here so i cant understand why its alright to say your car isnt road legal

is a fair point, but it is possible for a car to pass an mot without a cat, its not the lack of a cat that fails its the emmisions levels that fails, so cliosport cant exactly be expected to have emmisions read outs for everyone with a decat can they?

i dont know i dig holes for a living but my megane coupe had the same engine as your clio and that wouldnt pass an MOT without the cat on

i had a lot of emmisions problems with the megane mate even when it was standard i had a new cat for it £120 and oxygen sensor and it still wouldnt pass the emissions test so i ended up getting a mot through a friend if you know what i mean,i dread to think what the emissions would have been like when it had the engine managment and cam,headwork,4 branch,williams injectors etc etc
