decat pipe...

1. is a decat pipe basically a pipe tht replaces your cat ?
2. is it worth it?
3. how much do they usually cost (incl fitting)

yeh its just a pipe and u cant get it for the mk2 ph2 1.6 clios as ive tried every wer but i can oly find a sports cat not a straight pipe because of where the cat is...

sometimes it is depends what your looking for if your looking for a louder more sporty noise + u do get a bit of performance i think but not much the pipes only cheap normally but as i said for the 1.6 its a difrent exhaust system to 1.2's and the172/182's its worth it as its a popular car

AAS exhaust would be your best bet mate, they're in Newcastle and have a good reputation. They'd be able to knock you up a de-cat and fit for you. You'd have to ring them up for a price though. Failing that, if you don't mind traveling Pro-Speed in Cardiff are good, I had mine done there.

ill have to see what the exaust is like tomoz but i would of though it was the same i diddent know wether it was a bolt on /bolt off jobby
