Decat problem!!!

I have a janspeed exhaust and have recently fitted a scorpion decat. Once fitted with the correct clamp all is well until i have driven the car quite hard for about 10-15miles and the seal between decat and exhaust becomes loose. It then sounds awful and continues to get worse until I have it resealed. I have had it refitted twice now and it is blowing again and back to sounding tinny and generally crap. It sounds ok"ish" until it has warmed up.

Any ideas on what I can do? I've heard about cutting the end and having a sleeve put on but I need to be able to refit the cat for MOT reasons.

I need it sorting because it sounds fantastic once it has been resealed.

I went to Powerflow who flanged my Decat, Cat and Cat-Back System and is very solid and no blowing now

Is there one of those near us Andy? Am thinking of getting my yozza sorted at somepoint... pulling it up into the bumper rather than hanging down.

Edit - Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds but have no experience with either of them.

I had a lot more work done so not sure but they would quote you if you popped into your local place.

I've had exactly the same problem, except mine wouldnt seal at all, given the standard system isnt a great design, but the standard cat never blows!
Most decats dont have the same shape flange as the standard cat, they are similar but not the same!

I just got a better clamp fitted, more substantial, sorted my problems out.
