Decat question

Sorry guys, had a search couldn't find the answer (but I am on my phone)

my cat is shot on my 182 and thinking of replacing with a decat.

Q1. Can this put my car in limp mode?
Q2. If it does is there anything I can or do I need a remap?

Sorry I'm sure the answer is here I just can't find it

Won't put the car in to limp but may just cause the engine light to come on, just buy a cheap diagnostic machine off eBay to turn it off, no need for remap either

Just when your MOT is due you'll have problems unless you know any friendly testers
