Does this effect the Engine Management light? and does it fail the emissions test?

my light neva come on but some people say the do pass mot and some dont better to keep your old cat just in case, i do it they make you exhaust sound better and also they give better throttle response

My Emmissions Light came on literally within about 5 Minutes of Running the Car with my Decat, So easy to change though so I say go for it
