Koni shocks are over £400

then you have coilovers at £700+

how long do the standard shocks last

depends on useage, (standard shocks i'm on about here) the fronts are normally fine, the rear however can wear out quick

How can i tell if there worn, i reckon my rear ones feel like they are "bottoming" out quite often.

if theres oil all over them they're fucked

std rear shocks are only £40 each IIRC
