Decisions decisions??

Car  PH2 172
Im not sure if to keep the 172 cup and spend some more money on it like coilovers decat remap and renault sport interior or sell the 172 cup and go buy a scooby which i will be paying alot more on insurance hard decisions?

Just because i think the scooby's are just a little bit common
Go for upgrading ur 172 cup..
Re-map etc i did that just on my 182 cup makes a great difference

I was thinking buckets mate well i think i might have to spend some money on it just worried cuz my cup got 66k you all think this still ok

I've driven a few scoobies, not as much fun imo

Stick with the Clio ;)

This is true, Ive driven type r's, gsi's and JWC minis and non of them have been as fun as the cup! Only thing that came close was a friends 300bhp type ra subaru

Im going to test drive the astra and corsa vxr soon tho, see how they compare ;)

Keep the Cup.

Dont put another Clio interior in it though. Buckets and strip it.

That's what i'd do, with a good set of coilovers set up properly

66k is peanuts mate, my mk2 172 hit 100k the other day and the engine is running better then ever [touches wood]

As long as it's serviced regularly, and looked after then i wouldn't worry about high mileage

Have seen the Clio sport blocks cover well over 100k & still make good, if not better power than 50k ago, service it well & theres no reason why it cant go on! Fixed buckets if you really want to fall in love with your cup, Cup & sport seats are the same design & both offer a shite seating position so i personally wouldnt waste the money on sport/heavier interior

Astra feels quick, corsa sounds good... both don't handle well enough!

Fun factor is what sells a car imo :)

I went from a Clio to a scooby.

I sold it and went back to a Clio.

I had a PPP 53 plate WRX before my Cup,

It lasted two weeks until I was fookin' sick of the too heavy, boring, sluggish POS. Used an obscene amount of fuel for a slow car as well.

Flogged it and picked up a cheap Clio Cup. That was 4 months ago!

Cheers
