unsure whether to do a boot build properly in my clio or take my subs n amps out and strip it down apart from my 172 interior and carpet etc..opinions please

its a mk2 ph2 1.6 btw

I'd say get the ICE done, stripping a 1.6 isn't going to make it much faster, plus surely it's a waste even having amps/subs if you're not going to use them..

Rear seats really don't weigh much at all, if you want to strip it, the front seats are where the weight is, which means either just taking the passenger one out, or taking them both out and putting light weight ones in...

Forget it and get your stereo done.
