Monitors with response times under 16ms will do nothing except for your ego. Anyone saying they can tell the difference with the human eye alone it talking crap.

  Better than yours. C*nt.

Well done that man.

Think about it, how many frames per second can your graphics card honestly do at the resolution this panel can do (I'll give you a clue - 55 with my pair of 8800GTX's SLI'd in FSX), and the XBox 360 doesn't do that many AFAIK.

To push 16ms response into showing any difference really you'll need your card to be pushing 62.5fps - and even then, if it's 1 frame behind, you're never going to notice. If you can then you probably think the throttle response on any fly-by-wire car is crap, because they've got a delay of around that without trying!

On a sidenote, I've got the 2007WFP and it's fantastic - ok there's a bigger one with a faster response time, but I'll stick a pic up to show why I didn't get it - I've not got room in my desk for it!

I have a Dell 17" UltraSharp monitor, no complaints here apart from I wish I had got a 19" now.

Cheers guys we do have these at work and I've been really impressed with them as the picture is really crisp on them. Now I'm stuck between getting one or two :D

Is it worth paying the extra to get the 24" monitor or is 20" more than enough for most people?

personally i think it was worth paying the extra, the 24" straight infront of you just looks enormous, and in the future u could always add another 24" :D

the 24" also has some extra stuff that the 20" doesn't. i can't remember exactly, but it has an extra input, and a card reader on the side.

Depends on the person and there eyes to be honest. Go look at a 16ms screen like what your going to buy. Some you can see and some you cant. My friends got a cheapo 16ms screen and i can see it ghosting.

the 16ms is typically quoted as grey to grey. Some monitors can have higher black to black than other though even though grey to grey is the same thus you can then possibly see ghosting.

Its very dependent on the person and how good there vision is. Like some people cant tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps other can instantly. Also like having a monitor set at 60hz...it gives me a headache at 60hz but to most people there fine with it at that.
