how much would a dent repair on this cost? not sure if it needs resprayed or not though... cars on autotrader you see.

Paintless dent removals PDR's are usually on average around £35 - 40 a panel .Check your local PDR's on :

bought an A3 with similar damage once, thought it was easy to repair. It turned out that it had been repaired before in the same spot, was full of filler and because of this my smart repair guy had a nightmare, it took him ages and it looked shite when it was finished. Moral of the story.......Avoid!!
