They seem to have been working on it for a while and it's for current gen consoles, I don't know diddly squat about programming etc but it seems a massive undertaking.

Yeah looks immense. Will also be on next gen too - so might be one of the first titles I get for the new gen (still not decided if it will be new Xbox or PS though!)

I'm thinking Exo Hunter or Awoken Titan, that is so geeky. Theres a hell of a lot of though and work gone into this!

That's not that far away really - and as I won't be getting the new Xbox until Xmas at the earliest, not a massive issue! I am willing to wait a bit - only adds to the excitement!

As soon as I saw it I said its just halo with a different name. Then they say they did make halo. Lol I don't like halo so I'm going to go out on a limb and say I won't like this.

Been watching this closely as I am a huge fan of Bungie, however can't help thinking it looks kind of boring? Will hold judgement till I actually play it though!!

I've not been following this game but had noticed it mentioned a few times. I had an email this evening with an Alpha code. Just downloading it now, 6.8gb on the ps4.

Not sure what to expect, I'll post my thoughts in the next few days probably.

Got my Alpha Code yesterday, had a quick blast and although i am not a big fps fan i did enjoy it and it looks stunning and seems to run very smooth for an Alpha build. Multiplayer was good fun from the 1 game i had it was a sort of domination type of game where the team had to capture and hold the 3 points ( A,B,C ). The one player map is absolutely huge and i was happy just wondering around at times in awe of how good the level and effects look etc A few of my friends have also now got it so will try out some co op later... The Full game should be pretty special going by this Alpha and a welcome change for me from cod etc.

Crazy. Can't the publishing houses let the previous gen consoles slip into history now? I bet there are departments within Sony and Microsoft going livid that such games are being released on their old hardware.

They really should. We won't see the full potential of the new consoles if they are making games so they still work on the older systems.

I don't know how I remembered my password to that website but I did... To think Halo2 (the first time I used Bungie.net) was 10 years ago!!

What platform are you going to be playing the Beta on? I went for 360 (you can choose which one you want on Bungie.net, it's not chosen by the platform you preorder for).
