Wrath of the machine? I'm more than happy to help but will just be a struggle with timing this week as I'm on nights. To be totally honest I never really liked the raid and have only run it a handful of times. Message me next time you see me on and I will help out.
Oh doesn't have to be this week buddy. We tend to just do Tuesday and Friday nights now, so if you're on one of those at some point, I'll give you a shout!
Both - you can run round all you like but the actual story has set objectives.
As you are doing them you can get side tracked by other adventures or just see some other people doing another mission and just help them out, then be on your way!
Nearly as sad as the people who wear Harry Potter scarves and debate which house is better

I don't see how that makes it acceptable to buy a top of something you support because it's real.. also that top was free for him... do you also question people who wear tops with movie quotes/characters etc on? Because someone likes something but it isn't 'real' why cant they own a piece of clothing of it? :')

Yeah, although I think only @JP83 plays now - certainly from the CS people I used to play with, anyway.
I'd go back, but it's kind of a lonely game by yourself.
As for pre-ordering 2, I won't be. I'll probably buy it though, because I'm a sucker for buying games, I can't say I'm dripping with excitement over it though!
Im still playing but purely PVP, also depending on what game modes are out. I will pre order 2 this week as it will surely be the same, just with new s**t. I have heard talk of pets being involved in D2 which all sounds a bit gay to me, could be worse I guess... you could own an item of destiny clothing :tonguewink:
I don't think I will get to play the beta as I'm away with work but I should be around for the launch. The part I'm kinda looking forwards to is the hunt for weapons. When the DLC came out it was all too easy as I had a million exotic engrams or you just done some stupid quest... but I do really like the RNG drop side of the game and when everyone is fresh I like it. Im also looking forwards to being able to play average Joes in the crucible because SBMM is killing it for me at the moment (top 0.2% isn't fun).

It does look visually good, but I also think they've played it a bit safe - I guess it's the nature of a sequel, but it would've been nice to have a few things that we're thinking outside the box, instead of the same 3 classes, Strikes, Trials and Raids, more Cabal, Vex etc... Also, launching with one Raid probably means it is going to be another DLC milking job from Activision.
Also, early indications are that the PC offering is vastly superior to the console offering - 21:9 support, uncapped frames with full 4k, change field of view, full control over key mapping etc - It's tempting me into buying a gaming PC.

I agree I would have liked to see something new - new planets same enemies?! Also not a fan of having to restart all loot etc when its the same thing again like you said. Pumped a lot of time (and money) into Destiny 1. More concerned that I got the impression ALL PvP game modes are 4v4?!
Totally agree, people need to remember its a sequel and it will be very similar. The inbuilt LFG looks really good along with most of the other changes. Im quite looking forwards to it now.

Capped at 30fps on console, confirmed by Bungie, even on the PS4 Pro. Poor show.

From what I've been reading and hearing that's down to the hardware not bungie. Destiny is such a large and visually impressive game that the current gem console can't cope with it at 60fps.

Either way, the gulf between the PC and console offerings is looking fairly vast.

I'm thrilled with this current trend of mainstream games (Prey, et al) making much more use of the PC version - than the usual console-bound limitations that we have upon on release. Long may it continue!
