Destructive Misfire

Hi guy i'm wondering if anyone can help?

I have a 182 05 reg, that has started misfiring @ 2000 revs and sometimes runs on 3 cylinders all through the rev range.

I started on friday & today has been on a snap-on scanner which detected the following error - 278 destructive misfire - OBD ERROR.

At first we thought it could of been the coil pack but the mechanic said it usually says on the scanner when its the coil pack?

Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Well its either going to be the coil or the injector for that pot. Can you see which cylinder is missing?
