Picking up a new (used) car at the weekend and want it detailed, anyone in the area? What sort of price am I looking at? (It's a Passat estate, in black).

Depth of shine guy has contracts with Ferrari Aston martin etc. doesn't alter his prices for lesser cars.

I thought sak paying £1k for full correction! Hence why I opted to learn for myself Which is why I put the links to my attempts Shows you can acheive decent results with the right tools and common sense.

Thanks for the replies, I don't have the time or the inclination to do it myself, too old for all that now, but screw paying anywhere near £1k to make my paint shiny I was hoping to find some young dude on here who likes polishing cars and does it on the side to earn extra cash.

If Russ is busy I'd do it cheaply for you too, done quite a few cars over summer.
