DF038 - DF058 running issues, please help

  Clio 172 2001
Hi all,

Really hoping someone can help, my car hasn't been running right since Christmas last year.

So I'm experiencing, bad idle (even for a 172) stalling at junctions and rich exaust smells.

I have been told everytgimg from timing to sensors. I've replaced, the throttle body, TDC sensor, MAP sensor, and the post cat lambda and recently replaced the exhaust for full stainless pure motor sport cat exhaust.

Nothing so far has helped, I have a working CLIP, originally the only error code I was getting was DF038. When I got a new exhaust I got a replacement post cat lambda as I was told that was what that error code meant. On inspection the sensor was damaged and the clip holding it was damaged.

I replaced the clip, and the sensor, all OE parts. Now I'm getting DF038 and DF058!!

Does anyone know what the difference in these codes are as they poth point to the post cat lambda?

Pictures attached.

Those heat shrink solder butt joints haven't been heated for long enough which won't be helping the wiring.

The solder hasn't melted...

Ok thank you, first time using these. Yeah i pressume because i have 2 warning lights that the fix i did was suspect but ideally was trying to find out exactly what the codes mean ie DF058 = fauly sensor DF038 = broken circuit.

Ill try it again
