My mate plugged my car in to his hand held reader an it came up with cranksensor an gearbox temp
Are these two linked or are the separate sensors let me no cheers

I'd do the crank sensor and then redo it. Crank sensors are common at failing and due to it being Renault it could throw a code up anywhere else!

I had a fault throttle position sensor and it threw up 3 other faults, fixed it and they went!

Yeah me mate thought so he said just to ask on here to be sure as if it was another sensor we cold have fitted it the same time as the crank sensor cheers

Always fit one new sensor at a time, then start car, re read ECU etc....

It's just so you know what the fault was
