Diagnostics - Price?

How much can I expect to part with for a diagnostics on a Clio 182? I'm wanting it checked as I don't believe the MPG is true. It is slightly lumpy 1st to 3rd and fine past 30mph, and occasionally struggles to settle when cold. But very rarely.

It almost dropped the ball just once, but when I push it past 4,500rpm it feels smooth and pulls. My exhaust leaks pre-cat and its sagging...

pretty sure Renault dealers are around £100/hour, minimum half hour charge :/

Don't know how much Renault charge but take it to a decent Independent specialist, it'll be much cheaper and more often than not, they'll know much more about your car than Renault.

Good advice,Where are you?Sort out the exhaust,as any diagnostics will be meaningless with it leaking.

Buy a second hand RS tuner off here go for about £120 -140 does diagnostics very well !

Doesn't the engine ignore the lambda sensor around that point? I'd get the exhaust sorted and see. Maybe your leak is messing with the sensor. You can't go in for diagnostics with obvious faults not sorted it's a waste of money.

We don't "charge" specifically for diagnostics as code reading rarely tells you anything. We do however charge £40+VAT for an hours work and if we have to use CLIP in that hour then so be it... if we have to use other tools as well then that's also included.

Have you replaced the cat then,and reconnected the Lambda?(see earlier threads dating back to March).
Anybody know if there is RS independant in Edinburgh?
