diamond cut question

ive just got a mk1, i has some RSI alloys on it which i am replacing with some 172 alloys, however i wanted to clean the RSI alloys up because they are quiete heavily corroded, they have had a diamond cut rim which has started go corode and has gone patchy and white in places, what do you suggest i use to clean this up, in some places it looks thicker than the actual metal, could i sand these down with wet and dry and try to re-polish?

yeh various grits of wet n dry and then autosol metal polish.. should bring it right up.

Where's the best place for Autosol?

not sure if frauds sell it. Most smaller motorfactors sell it. i think motor world do actually.
