Diesel box into sport

Done abit of research but I couldn't find a exact answer I have a 2002 ph2 172 Clio for track days and I've just been given a 2005 1.5 dci Clio that's been rolled. I'm after knowing whether the gearbox out the derv would fit my car? I did notice before that the diesel doesn't have lift up reverse and iirc it's also in a different position any help appreciated also if it does fit would it effect it on track with it having different ratios

It will fit fine...
but the diesel box will have different gear ratios .

Dont think it would suit a track day car IMO!
