Difference between Ktec and Janspeed??

Hi people,

I have read that they are the same company? I have a Ktec exhaust at the mo (with a unsilenced mid section). I have now bought a Janspeed cat back exhaust system (with a silenced mid section). My plan was to replace the Ktec straight through midsection with the Janspeed silenced midsection.

Can anyone confirm it will be a direct swap?

Also will there be any difference in the backboxes (Apart from the names engraved into them)? If the Janspeed backbox is better then i will swap out the backbox as well and sell the KTec mid and baclbox together.

As long as the bore sizes are the same then yes

Janspeed make exhausts for Ktec - they're not the same company though. It should fit if the bores are the same? Might be worth confirming with Ktec though.

cheers guys, the bores were different KTR 2.5, Janspeed 2.25 . Please can you see my new post as im trying to put the whole Janspeed exhaust system on now:
