Difference between the Si and Sport

  Clio 1.4 16v Dymanique
Hello

Another noob question, whats the difference between the Si Model and the Sport Model, both look pretty similar, part from maybe the lights...

Cheers

Im guessing you mean on the mk2 ph1?

There will be loads of differences. Lights, bumpers, wings, skirts, interior.. Oh and the Si is 1.6 I think, the sport is 2.0

Is he not talking about a 'Sport', and not a 'Renaultsport'?

  Lots of Alfas
The sport was 1.4 8v 75hp, later on it was a 1.2 16v and the SI started off as a 1.6 8v but after 2000 was 1.4 16v 98hp/ 1.9dTi. The diesel si was very rare as it had the 80hp van engine. The SI had abs and alarm as standard. The next one up was the RSI 1.6 16v.

They are the Clio sport range not to be confused with RenaultSport.

Ive got a 2001, 1.4 16v "Si" and mine has Aircon and no sunroof.
But my friends 1.4 16v "Si" from 2000 has a sunroof but no aircon.
(Im claiming they are Si based on the side badges i assume this is right?)

Was this a change to the spec or some sort of optional extra on mine?

I have a X-plate Sport in vertigo green (the best colour to get imo) which is a 1.4 8v.

Sunroof (squeeky)
No air-con
