Difference in springs

Can anyone tell me the difference in normal clio and 172 springs? The 172 springs should be stiffer(and a bit lower) but are they the same diameter?

The thing is I got some Power Tech springs and they are suposed to fit all models after 98 but Im reluctant to fit them just to have them removed again.

AFAIK the suspension is almost completely different on a 172 compared to a "normal" clio

How can it be completely different, they both have springs and shocks dont they?

Damn, guess Ill have to order some eibachs then...

think the 172 is lower, maybe 20mm at a guess
