Different Colour springs

I read that on OE suspension they have different colour bands that mean what springs they are. After doing a little research i have come to this conclusion:

Springs:
Yellow band - Non cup pack
Red/White - Cup Pack

Shocks:
54mm Bolt Spacing - Non Cup pack
60mm Bolt Spacing - Cup Pack

Can anyone confirm this or is it completely wrong? Also is there different colours between front and rear?

If this has been covered else where it would be much appreciated if anyone could pass that information on.

not sure about the colours, but the bolt spacing bit is correct

i thought the cup suspension had yellow and white,as that's what mine has.

My understanding is that all cars are 54mm bolt spacing except cup packed 182's at 60mm.

I'm almost positive 172 cup has yellow, white dashes on the springs and the 172 cup shockers also have yellow/whit dots.

Genuine parts just fitted to my car.

My 182 cup packed springs had the red and white tabs on.

Yh mine has red/white rear springs but yellow tabs on the front so I think they been swapped. Not an issue as I getting lowering springs soon so
