Dilemma with exhaust surround... need ideas... (pic inside)

hi, how to resolve dodgy exhaust surround recess cut???



my 172 came with a k-tec recessed exhaust, but the recess in the bumper had been cut in the wrong place, so the exhaust was always touching one side and looked naff. no amount of exhaust adjustment would fix it. i've re-cut the bumper and as expected i have a gap between the edge of the exhaust surround and the bumper cut out.

suggestions on best way to sort this out? i'll replace the bumper if i have to (such was how it looked before) but i'd rather not...

You'l have to replace the bumper, I would have cut it and rewelded it in the place i needed it, even a garage would have done that for £40 or so

New exhaust surround, new bumper, someone who know's what they're doing to cut the bumper.
