DIN connector damaged on end of antenna

Still can't pick up any stations, changed aerial base twice so it's not that. I now believe it's the actual end of the lead, the DIN connector. Any idea how to repair it or beat way to fix it? I've tried foil

chop it off and rewire on a standard male connector like this...

then convert it if need be to oem with this...

Done that and still same I'm having the whole cable replaced, that's next option. If that doesn't fix it, then god knows haha!

I had the no signal issue , replaced the base , in the end I replaced this cable and it sorted it - I put it down to the dodgy aerial connection on mine though

I'm now gonna replace the cable! I am getting someone who's an audio specialist to do it though! Is it hard?

the hardest part of changing a roof aerial is trying not to knacker the roof lining. otherwise its pretty straightforward.

I've already replaced the aerial base on the roof twice having the actual cable from back of headunit replaced
