go for the ds2500 and the brembo hc discs and then you can get braided lines aswell

Seems to be a popular choice that kit. I got brembo hc discs, mintex 1144 pads and goodridge braided lines and they are brilliant!

I recently got some brembo max discs, greenstuff pads and braided lines. Very impressed so far. The lines and discs were very cheep off ebay too

you went for Greenstuff pads Gaz?? they're terrible imo. i wouldn't even call it brake fade tbh as that would imply that the pads actually did work before giving up.

Ferodo DS2500's or Mintex 1144 are very good. if you're feeling flush then go for Pagid Blues.

Ditch the Greenstuff Gaz before you end up in one.......

Thanks for the advice all, Just one thing are the DS2500 a bit
harsh for town driving? or should I look at another pad type
and with the discs should they be brembo max or the max hc.

the DS2500's on mine are great for all types of driving. they're not harsh for town braking but they do a great job of pulling you up in a hurry if needs be ;)

they are prone to the odd bit of squeal but nothing that you'd really notice.

a good option to consider would be the Carbone Lorraine RC5 compound fast road/track day pads which work at their best at all temperatures (even from cold!)

Thanks for the input where do you get hold of or rather
who sells the RC5 pads as K-tec list Lorraines but not
that specific number? Or am I being dim.

lol, you really think they're that bad? I've seen that a few people dislike them but nothing extreme. I dont do track days and so far im really really pleased with them! (only comparing against standard). I got them pretty cheap which was a bonus.

you sure you didnt have any problems with yours fella?
